La Intimidad del Agua is a collection of short stories that emerged from years of my visual artwork. Through my paintings and illustrations — exploring shadow, depth, and emotion — the images gradually began to speak, inspiring words to give voice to my own characters.
This book, originally published by Editorial Equilibrista, received significant literary recognition, including praise from Spanish writers such as Francisco Javier Irazoki and Rafael Narbona, who presented the book at the Ocho y medio Bookstore in Madrid. The introduction was written by the Belgian author Patrick Lowie who also presented the book in Brussels.
Although the book is no longer widely available due to the challenges faced by publishers during the pandemic, some copies remain. You can request one directly through this FORM.
After the brief success of La Intimidad del Agua, the poet and literary critic Francisco Javier Irazoki invited me to participate in a wonderful literary collaboration. I had the privilege of contributing to a collection of 20 short stories, each written as a musical ear paying tribute to the world’s most elegant instrument: the piano.

My story, titled “Chico Largo y el Piano de Charco Verde”, tells the tale of a mysterious shaman from the enigmatic island of Ometepe. The cover illustration was created by the French artist Jean-François Martin.
Several years ago, I had the opportunity to publish a photography book in Africa, a humanitarian project carried out in collaboration with the artist Alain Godefroid. The project was organized by the Belgian association EODEC – Doctors and Dentists, with the aim of supporting their humanitarian initiatives.
The book was published in Belgium by Biliki Editions and combines my photographs, French short stories, and illustrations, creating a unique blend of visual and literary expression with a humanitarian purpose.
This project received significant attention at the time and was exhibited in several venues, including the European Commission (DG ECHO – Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection), as well as hospitals and art centers in Brussels and Luxembourg.
