«Trascender la necesidad del deseo, es también encontrar la libertad del amor. A través de la separación y del desgarro, se hace posible notar que existe un fondo en el ser en el que, si hay amor, toda separación es de alguna manera ilusoria y todo deseo ya ha sido satisfecho».
Simone Weil
Crossing the Crystal Lake
Black lake, black monsters, black seaweeds
Where do the black trees go that drink here?
Their shadows must cover England.
A Little light is filtering from the water flowers.
Our wild mother is calling you.
She whispers white wolf howls:
July
Their leaves do not wish us to hurry;
They are round and flat and full of dark advice.
Cold underworld shakes from the oar.
The spirit of blackness is in us, as it is in the fishes.
Dive among them.
Dive to the moon. Swim her.
A snag is lifting a valedictory, pale, hot hands.
Look how stars open among the lilies.
Are you not blinded by such beautiful sirens?
This is the white silence of our black soul.
«The Male Ego»
In the prehistory of the male psyche resides the lawless male.
In an instant, he can topple the apparent fortresses of human dignity, balance, and beauty.
The female subconscious perceives him and attempts to exorcise him. It tries to eradicate that stray branch of human genealogy; an amorphous, barbaric, and two-formed link that transformed the beast into the human: the centaur.
Centaurs, the primordial archetype of male regression, are only capable of violent sexuality. They are destroyers of love in a twofold sense. They assault women (and girls), and they kill the subtle bond that can unite a couple. They do not understand; they can only feel destructive envy.
The mind of the centaur can never separate itself from instinct, just as in his body, man cannot separate himself from the animal.
The violence of the centaur, in fact, is not a simple animalistic release: it is something more complex. It is manipulation. It includes the perversion of power, desiring the subjugation and humiliation of the victim.
They are usually punished by the gods and the judicial powers. Sometimes with prison sentences and international arrest warrants that force them to live in the shadows of their own shadows.
Love brings out their most ignoble monsters.
The centaur fears the snow.
He fears the purity he himself destroys.
The Samsara and Minotaur’s Maze
Throughout mythology and sacred texts, we find echoes of the inner journey — the trials of the soul, the dance of masculine and feminine energies, and the confrontation with the shadow of the ego. Tales such as Andromeda and Perseus, the odyssey of Odysseus, and one of my favorites, the myth of the Minotaur and Ariadne’s thread, carry timeless lessons about guidance, courage, and transformation.
In the myth of the Minotaur, Ariadne knows the labyrinth intimately — its twists, turns, and hidden chambers. She provides Theseus with a thread, guiding him through the maze. This thread is strikingly reminiscent of the red thread that, according to legend, always connects twin flames. Through her guidance, the feminine leads the masculine into the confrontation with the Minotaur — the shadowed ego.
Theseus slays the Minotaur, and in the myth, places its head at Ariadne’s feet. Symbolically, this act represents the hero’s journey, the victory over the ego, and the coronation of the king. It is a story of integration: the masculine achieves its triumph, but only through the insight, guidance, and wisdom of the divine feminine. The myth speaks to the eternal dance of twin flames — of recognition, guidance, and the shared journey toward wholeness.
